NUA Award Winner

I am graduating from Norwich University of the Arts with a degree in BA Architecture. Throughout my time spent here, I explored an expression of material and finishes, along with developing skills used to illustrate my ideas. Following an education in mechanical engineering and experience as a carpenter, I began to explore ways of detailing the architecture of material, and how it can be articulated in a simple, honest and transparent form. I undertook research into strong European self-build cultures, as well as manifesting an informed standpoint on sustainable design within urban and rural contexts.

As an architectural designer, I am always looking to find new ways to provide an experience in my work, so that an audience and a client can truly appreciate the work that is produced by an architectural industry. During my studies at NUA, I have also built my own business which demonstrates an honesty and robustness towards using natural materials to build compact yet comfortable spaces.

Vice-Chancellor’s Commendation. Winner of the RIBA East Student Award 2021.
