BA (Hons) Games Art and Design
Sarah Drew
As a Games Art and Design graduate specialising in concept art, I have practical experience with producing games in a team environment, participating in industry set art tests and directing my own final project focused on fairy tales. I strive to tell stories through my art, which has motivated me to develop my technical proficiency with digital painting, focusing on iterative design of environments and creatures.
I enjoy researching nature and history to draw inspiration from while painting, in addition to studying trends in game development and culture which influence my critical writing. Both my course of study and previous employment as a library assistant at NUA have strengthened my keen eye for detail and thorough organisational skills, which have been useful in completing my degree during lockdown. I feel prepared to enter the creative industry and am excited to continue learning in a professional environment.
