Sophie Porter

BA (Hons) Graphic Communication

Advertising posters, layering modern imagery over the top or royal portraiture.

I am a recent graduate of BA Graphic Communication, specialising in advertising, campaigns for change and brand identities. I am excited to develop my skills further and learn more about the industry I am entering. Since beginning my degree I have learnt how to respond effectively to the feedback I have received and used it to help push my work to its best.

During my time at university, I have found that design for good is a key interest of mine, as it has given me the ability to help drive social change through my creativity, learning to communicate my ideas in the best way possible to provoke conversation, especially on topics that need to be addressed right now but also topics that are extremely important to me.

In addition, live competition briefs have allowed me to work collaboratively on projects which have helped develop my communication and teamwork skills, bouncing ideas off each other and using our strengths to create a project that answers the brief cleverly and uniquely.
