BA (Hons) Fine Art
Tahlia Armstrong’s current practice is an exploration of the colour yellow and how it can be manipulated into the real world. The focus on the hue stems from Armstrong’s obsession with the colour, rooting from her childhood and environment. Whether it is painting, sculpture or digital manipulations of photographs, the works are minimal yet immersive, utilising the favoured hue. Each piece is intended to be interpreted differently by every individual, without influence from the artist, to allow for unique dialogues and experiences to be had.
