BA (Hons) Illustration
I am a creative with skills in event production, workshop facilitation and illustration. I’m interested in culture, identity and creating spaces for marginalised people. My work explores this through digital collage and storytelling.
My practice is built around the idea of narrative; the importance of not just having a story told, but who gets to tell their story. I aim to share the stories and experiences of marginalised people and utilise the creative process I’ve developed through my degree to do this. From this, I’ve strengthened my ability to turn ideas into tangible things; whether that’s a children’s book about loss, a workshop on activism or lecture series platforming creatives of colour. These experiences have given me the opportunity to develop my skills in communicating with a range of people, problem-solving and being adaptable.
