Tereza Jirmusová
BA (Hons) Photography
I am a fashion photographer influenced and inspired by abstract art. I am interested in techniques from the 1860s and apply them in contemporary photography. My work is influenced by classics Gjon Mili, Jaromír Funke, František Drtikol and present photographer Jake Wangner.
It is my personal interest and my wish to further my career, and exploring abstract photography has broadened my experience. My work explores light, shadow, movement, and experiments with shutter speed, depth of field, and how all of these aspects work together. In my latest projects, I capture the energy coming from my models. I choose to work with models that I find interesting, different, or unique in both their looks and minds.
