Thomas Goddard

BA (Hons) Illustration

I’m a storyteller and illustrator, inspired by history and science as well as the living world and day to day life of ordinary people. I have over a dozen fictional stories that I’m constantly developing at one time, from my project ‘King of the Sand Dunes’ that I worked on in year 3 of university as well as ‘Tomander’ , ‘PDM’ , ‘Immortals’ and more. They are influenced by people that I know and characters on screen.

My goal for my career is to share these fantasy and sci-fi worlds and impart lessons along with them. I’m an avid consumer of other stories through film, TV and games that i hope to take these stories to one day, but am currently working towards a graphic novel for the previously mentioned ‘King of the Sand Dunes’. I’m a big fan of working with a team to complete a shared goal and hope to start a collective/publisher called ‘Flowerless Cake’ in the future. Lastly I enjoy spending time outside in nature and drawing observationally.
