Wai-Yen Tsim

BA (Hons) Games Art and Design

BA Games Art & Design Wai-Yen Tsim showing a fantasy delivery girl character design.

As an artist, I am always looking to find new ways to engage and delight the audience, such as streaming on Twitch. I have developed this adaptable and fun method in a way that clients appreciate. This is driven by my love of creativity and desire to interact with the audience and create better pieces for them. Through this, I have learned that having a positive attitude, clear communication, and professionalism leads to becoming a successful freelancer. My practice is built around this, and I pride myself on being easy to work with and consistently producing work.

My degree at NUA gave me opportunities to expand my creative practice. Although I am predominantly a digital artist, I have developed 3D modelling and sculpting skills, which will improve the efficiency of my work. NUA has also pushed me to participate in game jams outside of university and even to lead and produce my own game.
