Yasmin Noonan

BA (Hons) Illustration

Hand drawn illustration of me as a child playing with a dolly sat on the floor with a red top and cream dungarees. The illustration has a white background with the subject situated in the middle of the image.

Over my time at university, my practise has transformed into a more digital and personal style with playful with colourful imagery. I enjoy creating artwork that creates a sense of enjoyment and expressing my ideas and emotions is very important to me. My aspirations for my illustrative career are heading more towards the role of freelance and I am excited to explore my practise further and uncovering techniques and subjects I am passionate about and enjoy.

Colourful design of a square net which can be cut out and stuck together to form a square head. One side is purple and has a black and white checked hat, the reverse is a darker version with yellow flames and chains with a skull illustration representing the inside of Klyd’s head.

In the past unit I have experimented with many different mediums such as editorial, publication, promotional material and collaborative work. These experiences have enriched my practise and I am looking forward to starting my creative career and working with other like-minded individuals.

An anatomical view of the human brain and skull with the Cingulate Cortex highlighted, fire and pain signals originate at the cortex and lead out of the frame. Main colours are black red and yellow shadows around the head.
