Hi, I’m Abi Plant, a creative individual and team player who aspires to become a production designer or set designer for theatre productions and film.

During my time at university, I developed my artistic skills. This is particularly evident in my graduate short films but also all the shorter projects during my year three specialism. Within these projects, I learnt the importance of adaptability and interpretation of a brief, as throughout both of my graduate film shoots, we would encounter unforeseen issues and would need to provide efficient solutions.

As well as this, it also helped me to create connections with other creative individuals. I met with a local theatre, assisting with designing the set for their upcoming production. This helped me build connections and explore the set design industry for theatre, which is a side of the industry I want to move into.
