Charlie Savill

BA (Hons) Film and Moving Image Production

Still from Working Title directed by Lewis Cliff featuring a table with a laptop and office stationery

Having completed my studies at Norwich University of the Arts, I have now been apart of the filmmaking industry for 5 years. In this time, I have had the luxury to try and experiment with a variety of roles within the industry. Due to this, I have become well versed at problem solving and being versatile. These skills have grown immensely throughout my studies. I am constantly looking for my next challenge within filmmaking.

I spent my last year of studying at Norwich University of the Arts specialising in editing as I felt that understanding editing would help me gain a wider understanding of storytelling. From this, I was given the chance to edit two short films (Working Title and Love In Time). Both films tested and challenged me, but I am proud of the result of both. I also had the opportunity to be sound designer for ‘Love, Me’ the documentary. I am proud of my work on this project as I stepped into an area of filmmaking I haven’t tried before and I am proud of the result.
