Elise Moloney
BA (Hons) Photography
Elise Moloney is a Swiss studio portrait photographer based in the UK. Her work revolves around the themes of identity and her life experiences which are combined with metaphors to give her portraits multiple layers of meaning. Elise is inspired by fashion, film and various landscapes from around the world to create meaningful and personal work. She uses these elements in different ways to communicate her message to her audience. Her themes are directed to a narrative fine art photography style which makes her work conceptual and abstract.
Her latest series titled “The Identity series” which include the works of “Memory and Nostalgia” and “Change”, allowed her to use photographic techniques like double exposure and mixed media techniques to implement a unique and personal style into her work as a photographer. Her body of work “Memory and Nostalgia” has been featured in Storehouse magazine, the largest student-led magazine in the UK.
