Giovanni Alessandro Morter
BA (Hons) Photography
Fusing his Anglo-Italian culture, Giovanni Morter has spent the past four years honing his photography. This gave birth to a fine art-centric practice that is persistently involved with his dual cultures and identities.
Giovanni has shaped his photography in becoming a part of his creative expression. Narration has recently been his preferred topic, seeing him delve deep into a project that evolves around the reflection of what humankind used to be and what it has become, focusing on the transition over such event (transition being a loose topic to him, moving from Italy to England).
Other features in his work are symbology and its contextual power and the overall ethereal feel that helped to grow his mythical photographic style. His ideas are presented in a smoky black and white style.
