Jamie Haigh

BA (Hons) Design for Publishing

A colourful vector illustration by Jamie Haigh, showing a robotic angel in a stained glass window design.

I am a focused and determined Design for Publishing graduate with a love for illustration, typography and a developed understanding of Adobe software. I have an eclectic and colourful style, incorporating detailed illustration often inspired by the maximalist designs of the sixties and twenties.

A four page editorial design by Jamie Haigh, featuring slashed images of runway models.

My work includes editorial design, book layout design and cover designs, alongside illustrations and posters. I aim to create striking visuals with my unique point of view, piecing together a portfolio that brings a nostalgic sense of joy. I am pursuing a career in the design industry, specifically working in book cover design or editorial design.

A series of images surrounding The Horizon magazine project, including a holographic slip case cover and two article designs on fashion and television.
A series of five decorative cover designs with 1920s style illustration and embellishments.
