Megan Griib
BA (Hons) Games Art and Design
I am a 3D artist, specialising in stylised environment art and props for games. During my time as a games art & design student, I have developed necessary skills in Maya, Substance Suite, and Unreal Engine, along with collaborative skills that are essential to working in the games industry.
When creating my work, I enjoy using both my technical and creative knowledge to explore different styles and learn more about my discipline.
I am currently working at XR Games, as part of an internship that I hope will develop my skills further and open up future opportunities for my career in games. Through my third year at Norwich University of the Arts, I chose to explore different art-styles, focusing on a handmade aesthetic. I was inspired by games such as Tearaway, Lost in Random, and Little Big Planet, in addition to the charm of traditional stop-motion animation and ‘claymation’. My third-year projects reflect my love for nature and enchanted fantasy worlds.
