BA (Hons) Architecture
Completing my architectural degree has allowed me to develop and find new skills. Other than tangible skills of software use, including Rhino 7, AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, there are may other intangible skills that I have gained. One skill would be my ability to critically analyse my own or someone else’s work and bring new perspectives to enhance/develop it.
The way in which I articulate my ideas means that I can be clear and understood when trying to get ideas across to others. Also, with this it has meant that I work well in a collaborative setting, being able to listen and take on other people’s ideas and combine them with my own to push the project forward.
In my own work I take an experimental approach to design, allowing research to dictate where the project should go. When designing I can think about the multiple facades of a project and how they can all work together as one, combining the conceptual and pragmatic workings to form a well thought through and impactful design.
