Maisy Thorpe

BA (Hons) Fashion Communication and Promotion

Maisy Thorpe is a mixed-media visual communicator and storyteller, specialising in graphic design, photography, illustration and journalism. With a key interest in psychology, her final university project and self-made brand ‘Crunch’ publication investigated the impacts of fashion and consumerism – communicating the varying experiences and perspectives through mixed media.

Her project demonstrates her awareness and understanding of the need to break social media trends and build engagement both physically and digitally. Creating narrative-driven content by delving into issues and theories in pursuit of connecting with individuals and believing this is key to creating a successful brand presence on various social channels.

Inspired by our environment, social change and travel, Maisy’s work shows consideration for others and strong attention to detail. Moving forward she hopes to pursue a career in content creation roles to focus on creativity and further her communication skills.
